Great!
This is a great product. The tomatoes were solid and packed. There were at least 7 San Marzano tomatoes in each can. My family loved my sauce and I will order again. Prompt delivery.

EXCELLENT TASTING!!!
OVERALL, THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT! THE TOMATOES ARE FABULOUS!!! BEST CANNED TOMATOES I HAVE EVER HAD! THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE WITH THE PRODUCT IS THAT THE CANS ARE DENTED. MY FIRST ORDER THERE WAS 'MAJOR' DENTING AND I DIDN'T USE THEM, BUT AMAZON MADE IT RIGHT FOR ME SO I ORDERED ANOTHER AND WHEN THIS BATCH ARRIVED THERE WAS ONLY MINIMAL DENTING ON TWO OF THE CANS. SO OTHER THEN THE DENTING THIS IS A WONDERFUL PRODUCT!

Best value for the genuine article IF you have PRIME
There is much confusion about tomatoes, and shopping on-line in this case adds to the complexity. These are not the best tomatoes offered at the time of this writing. The Strianese are hands down the best. My local store sells them. I have been using them for fifteen years. But they are significantly more expensive and the shipping is brutal. No Prime shipping with them. I use these specific Cento when I am not home. It all depends on how much your sauce means to you.But you need to know what you are buying. These Cento tomatoes are 1) San Marzano sauce tomatoes; 2) they are D.O.P. certified 3) and this point is often overlooked, they are from the Sarnese Nocerino. They are the second best in terms of absolute flavor. Bright from proper acid, deep from proper natural salt/sugar balance. You probably cannot get better tomatoes fresh unless you know a specialty grower, or do it yourself and have no day job. Cento sells many others, much cheaper, that are not... Top to learn more

Great Product, Awful Price
DOP San Marzano canned tomatoes are the finest canned tomatoes on the planet... but I can get these for literally half the price at my local grocery store. Is this unusual? Boston is pretty heavily Italian in some areas... maybe that makes a difference. i don't understand why anyone would buy them at this price. Check your local grocery store before you buy them at this price. Top to learn more

I was looking for a canned Italian tomato product that would meet my standards for best tasting and for high quality, a tamato that was full of flavor and not watery , these tomato's are pacted in tomatoe puree. This product has excataly what I was looking for, it has met my expectations and has surpassed it. I rate this as excellent , I will only use the Carmelina Brand of canned tomato products . Brava Carmelina Brands. Maria R. Forman. Top to learn more
What a difference a tomato makes
I have been searching for a canned tomato that wasn't more water than tomato and had a nice tomato taste. After reading several reviews I thought that I would give Mangia Carmelina Italian chopped tomatoes a try and what a difference. The chopped tomatoes are a bit saucy, but the tomato puree they are in is perfect for making a nice sauce. I enjoy the chopped tomatoes because I can make up a great sauce for my pasta in about 30 minutes. If you want more tomato in your product then I would suggest you try Mangia Carmelina's whole tomatoes in puree. The puree is so rich in either one that you will not need to add tomato paste to thicken it. I would definitely recommend these products. Top to learn more
Great San Marzano tomatoes at a good price
I find these tomatoes to be a great value. Much cheaper than at the supermarket. They have a rich tomato taste perfect for tomato sauces.I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my tomato sauce.Unfortunately 10 out of 12 of the cans were dented in shipping and unusable.Amazon refunded my money without an issue.I'm not sure if this happens often with canned goods.Since they are a great value I will re order and hope that they arrive intact. Good product, poor packaging
I have been using the San Marzano tomatoes for many, many years; usually purchased from a specialty grocery store. When I saw them offered on Amazon, I ordered them immediately. They came very quickly, but 3 cans were badly damaged so I notified Amazon. They sent another box of 6 and again 3 were dented, 1 very badly. I sent back all 6 damaged cans and kept 6. Of the 6 that I kept, 4 are dented, slightly. I complained about the poor packaging, but they when they mailed the replacement package, they used the same flimsy packaging. Top to learn more

Sweet and Tasty
These tomatoes were recommended to me by a friend. They are sweet, perfect for making sauces. Be sure to not cook them more than 20-30 minutes, or you will lose the sweetness they give!Enjoy! Top to learn more

Excellent product!
I just purchased my second case of these tomatoes ( never had any dented cans) and all I can say is it would be hard to find better a better product. I use these for sauce and anything that requires canned tomatoes and I have never been disappointed. Also, as a bonus, unlike most you find on a grocery shelf, these tomatoes contain only 1% ( 20 mgm sodium ) per serving so this is a real consideration if cooking for someone on a low sodium diet. I recommend buying peeled, whole San Marzano tomatoes which add a lot of sweet flavour to the sauce. When making a marinara sauce, I usually use two cans of tomatoes and freeze half of the finished sauce for another week night pasta. Allowing the whole tomatoes to stew and crushing them makes the sauce thicker as well.
My thin blood can't handle the cold weather, and my stingy nature means that I spend an awful lot of time on winter mornings wondering what I'm going to wear so I can stay warm that day. I might add, it's hearty enough for for dudes (normally I would reserve soup for no-Dudley dinners) and Dudley gave it two very enthusiastic thumbs up. We chowed on this soup with homemade honey wheat rolls (you can find the recipe on King... " As grateful as I am for the warmth these clothes provide me during the cold months, they're bulky and clutter-ific and I delight in sending them to the deep, dark recesses of space bags when the warm weather arrives. And, yes, I think each and every sweater, scarf, hat, glove, fleece is absolutely necessary to keep me warm during the cold dark months. I bookmarked this recipe for stuffed pepper soup a few months ago because I do love a stuffed pepper. I'll give myself a pat on the back because it really was a good idea -- this soup was a perfect, warming dinner for a cool (cold for this Texan. Maybe it's because I've only lived in old, drafty houses up here, but it I think it costs like original sin to heat up a house in the wintertime. for example, when sweaters get old they become "dog walking sweaters.
